[...no, seriously, Kirishima. Slow down. Mahmut takes a deep breath. He will just have to deal with one issue at a time.]
Can you elaborate on what is strange about this place? What have you been able to deduce about the missing colours and people? And what are banshees?
I...suppose it is fine if you call me just Mahmut. [He sounds a bit hesitant but well. New place, new socially acceptable conventions. But where is Japan? Is it this place? But no--] Japan is the land you come from?
[How does this boy have so much energy? He can't remember the last time he'd met someone who moved so much when they talked...]
I see...if I may ask, what is your quirk?
[Is it rude to ask...?
But, you know. The job of a hero sounds a lot like his work as a pasha except it didn't sound like politics was a part of it.]
It sounds like a noble profession. I wish you the best in becoming a hero. [The words sounds...weird on his tongue. Hero. It was such a childish concept but it seems to mean something different wherever this boy came from so he'll keep his opinions to himself.]
Thanks! [Kirishima beams at him, showing his inhuman teeth in a wide smile.]
My quirk is Hardening. It's basic, but don't underestimate how useful it can be! I'm the perfect shield and lance if I want to be! [He bumps his hands to empathize his claim and then nods.] Yeah, Japan's my home country. I'm from Chiba more exactly, but that's not really all that important. Helping others knows no nationality!
[He is getting really pumped now, but the last answer makes him slow down a bit. Just enough to frown briefly as he searches for the best words to explain things without causing even more questions in the process.]
The strangest thing about this place is probably that there are no people here - no natives, at least. There's also the lack of color and all the unusual animals and how food only has taste when it also has color- ...But the strangest is surely how we got here; nobody knows how and there also doesn't seem to be any ways back that we've found yet. Not to mention that the people who were brought here seem to be not only from all kind of places, but even from different times and entirely different worlds!
